Benjamin Moore Brighten- Brightener & Neutralizer (K317)

USE

• Removes tannin bleed that is common with cedar and redwood
• Removes rust stains from wood and concrete
• Neutralizes residue and brightens wood surfaces after using Benjamin Moore Restore (K316) or Benjamin Moore Remove (K315)
• Product does not control mould, mildew, fungus, or algae; only removes stains

COVERAGE

• Size: 3.78 litres
• Maximum diluted solution (9 cans of 3.78 litres) covers approximately 148.64-222.96 square metres (1600-2400 square feet) depending on substrate and application method

PRIOR TO APPLICATION

• Determine proper dilution and test a small, inconspicuous area and allow to dry before general use
• Before and after application, liberally spray surrounding plants and vegetation with water
• Avoid contact with metal, lawn furniture, and fabric
• If necessary, protect adjacent surfaces with plastic

MIXING

• Product is a concentrate
• This container makes up to 9 cans of 3.78L product
• Mix ½ can of 3.78L Brighten (K317) with 3 ½ cans of 3.78L of water
• For stubborn areas mix ½ can of 3.78L Brighten (K317) with 2 ½ cans of 3.78L of water
• When using through a power washer chemical injector, place intake tube directly into container
• DO NOT MIX PRODUCT IN METAL CONTAINERS, NEVER MIX OR USE WITH OTHER CLEANERS OR CHEMICALS

APPLICATION

1. Apply product liberally to surface with plastic garden sprayer, brush, or power washer chemical injector
2. Allow solution to stand for 10-30 minutes, depending on age and type of finish to be removed
3. Agitate with stiff bristle brush in direction of wood grain and rinse using a garden hose with nozzle or power washer
4. Neutralize surface with Benjamin Moore Brighten- Brightener and Neutralizer (K317) following label directions
5. Allow to dry thoroughly. Note: when applying to vertical surfaces, apply from bottom to top

• Use in a well-ventilated area
• Keep container closed when not in use
• Keep out of reach of children
• It is recommended that anyone who is applying the product or present during application of this product, especially those who are asthmatic, follow the manufacturer's safety precautions
• It is recommended that pregnant women are not present when product is being applied and drying
  

CLEAN UP & STORAGE

• Thoroughly rinse all applicators and equipment with water
• In case of spillage, absorb with inert material and dispose of in accordance with local regulations
• Wash thoroughly after handling
  
• When storing, tightly close container and store upside down
• Store in a well-ventilated area
• Do not store near heat, sparks, open flame, or other sources of ignition
• Protect from freezing
  
• Use completely or dispose of properly
