Paint Colour Matching
To match a paint colour please bring in a physical sample of the colour you would like to achieve. This physical sample can be in the form of a paint chip taken from the source, colour swatch, wood panel, small item (such as a cabinet door), or etc.
If you still have the original paint but want it in a different sheen or product then please bring that in!
What we need to know:
What are you painting?
What is on that area now? If there is paint is it latex based or oil based paint?
Would you like to use latex based or oil based paint?
How big is the area that you are painting? How much paint do you need?
What sheen would you like your paint to be?
Is there a specific product we carry that you had in mind? We will recommend the best possible product for what you are painting.
*PLEASE NOTE:* colours cannot be matched using a picture on a screen
Stain Colour Matching
To match a stain colour please bring in a physical sample of the colour you would like to achieve. This physical sample can be in the form of a plank of wood with the desired colour on it, colour swatch, a small item (such as a cabinet door), or etc.
Please also bring a plank of wood that is the exact same type of wood as the area you will be staining.
What we need to know:
What are you staining?
What type of wood will you be staining? Is the wood raw, treated, or weathered?
What is on that area now?
Would you like to use latex based or oil based stain?
Do you need varnish? If you already have varnish is it latex based or oil based?
How big is the area that you are staining? How much stain do you need?
