Krylon Clear Varnish Spray Coating

USE
  • Ideal for wood, metal, wicker, glass, plaster, ceramic, and paper-mâché
COVERAGE
  • Spray Can (312 grams)- One coat of up to 25 square feet on a solid non-porous surface
SURFACE PREP
  • Surface should be clean, dull, and dry
  • Remove loose paint, rust, dirt, grease, and oil
  • To improve adhesion, sand glossy or rough surfaces until smooth
APPLICATION
  • Use outdoors or in a well-ventilated area
  • Shake can for 1-2 minutes before use as well as occasionally during use
  • Test an inconspicuous area first
  • Hold can 10”-12” from surface, spray in sweeping motion from side to side with slight overlap
  • Apply multiple thin coats to avoid runs and drips
  • For best results, use when air and surface temperature is between 10°C and 29°C (50°F and 85°F) and humidity is below 85%
  • Keep out of reach of children
  • It is recommended that anyone who is applying the product or present during application of this product, especially those who are asthmatic, follow the manufacturer's safety precautions
  • It is recommended that pregnant women are not present when product is being applied and drying
DRYING
  • Dries to touch in 15 minutes or less
  • Handle after 2 hours
  • Once surface is glossy wet, allow 10 minutes before spraying additional coats
  • Recoat within 2 hours or after 48 hours
CLEAN UP & STORAGE
  • Clean valve by holding can upside down and spraying until only clear gas comes out
  • If spray button becomes clogged, wear eye protection, wipe off the button opening with lacquer thinner- DO NOT stick pin in spray button opening
  • Clean overspray with paint thinner or lacquer thinner, following solvent manufacturer’s instructions
  • Wash hands after using
  • For Storage and re-use, clear valve by holding can in an upright position pointed away from you, and push the tip to one side for a few seconds to clear out remaining paint
  • Store can inside when not in use
  • In extremely cold temperatures, keep can warm
  • DO NOT heat on stove, in oven, or in microwave
  • Use completely or dispose of properly
