Benjamin Moore Super Hide Zero VOC Interior Primer (K354)

USE
  • For commercial and residential applications. Interior wall and ceiling surfaces in commercial and institutional environments. For new or previously painted interior wallboard, cured masonry, and non-bleeding wood; and for primed or previously painted plaster, or metal.
  • Performs well under latex- or solvent-based paints
COVERAGE
  • Quart (946 millilitres)- One coat of approximately 100 square feet of wall space
  • Gallon (3.79 litres)- One coat of approximately 400 square feet of wall space
  • Pail (18.9 litres)- One coat of approximately 2000 square feet of wall space
  • *Coverage may vary depending on the surface porosity and texture*

SURFACE PREP
  • Surfaces must be clean, dry, and free of grease, wax, dust, mildew, water soluble materials, loose and scaling paint, or other foreign matter
  • New masonry and plaster must be fully cured before applying primer
  • Glossy surfaces should be dulled
  • If the surface to be painted is water-stained, smoke damaged, grease stained or very slick, use a special purpose primer
APPLICATION
  • Use in a well-ventilated area
  • Ask about tinting the primer to the approximate colour of the finish coat when a significant colour change is desired
  • Stir thoroughly before use; 1 coat is usually enough but sometimes a second coat is needed
  • Product can be applied by brush, roller, or spray
  • Apply before and after filling nail holes, cracks, and other surface imperfections. Sand smooth when dry.
  • Do not apply when temperature is below 10°C (50°F)
  • Keep container closed when not in use
  • Keep out of reach of children
  • It is recommended that anyone who is applying the product or present during application of this product, especially those who are asthmatic, follow the manufacturer's safety precautions
  • It is recommended that pregnant women are not present when product is being applied and drying
DRYING
  • Dries to touch in 30 minutes
  • For multiple-coat applications, allow a 1-hour dry time between coats
  • Humidity and temperature may prolong dry, recoat, and cure times
CLEAN UP & STORAGE
  • Use soap and warm water; wash thoroughly after handling
  • In case of spillage, absorb with inert material and dispose of in accordance with local regulations
  • When storing, tightly close container and store upside down
  • Store in a well-ventilated area
  • Do not store near heat, sparks, open flame, or other sources of ignition
  • Protect from freezing
  • Use completely or dispose of properly
