Benjamin Moore Muresco Flat Ceiling Paint (K258)

USE

• New and previously painted plaster, wallboard, masonry, wallpapered surfaces, acoustical material, textured ceilings, and most other structural surfaces

COVERAGE

• Gallon (3.79 litres)- One coat of approximately 400 square feet of ceiling space
• Gallon (3.79 litres)- One coat of approximately 400 square feet of ceiling space
• Pail (18.9 litres)- One coat of approximately 2000 square feet of ceiling space

• *Coverage may vary depending on the surface porosity and texture*

SURFACE PREP

• Surfaces to be painted must be clean, dry, and free of grease, wax, scaling paint and mildew
• Glossy areas should be dulled with sandpaper
• Nail holes, cracks, and blemishes should be filled after prime coat is applied, then spot primed with same primer
• New plaster and masonry must be cured before painting

PRIMING

• self priming for most surfaces
• A separate primer can be used when painting over oil paint
• If the surface to be painted is water-stained, smoke damaged, grease stained or very slick, use a special purpose primer

APPLICATION

• Use in a well-ventilated area
  
• Use product when surface temperature is above 10°C (50°F)
• Stir thoroughly before use; apply 2 coats
• For best results, use a premium latex paint applicator; can be applied by brush, roller, or spray
• Keep container closed when not in use
• Keep out of reach of children
• It is recommended that anyone who is applying the product or present during application of this product, especially those who are asthmatic, follow the manufacturer's safety precautions
• It is recommended that pregnant women are not present when product is being applied and drying
  

DRYING

• Dries to touch in 1 hour
• Recoat after 2 hours
• Humidity and temperature may prolong dry, recoat, and cure times

CLEAN UP & STORAGE

• Use soap and warm water; wash thoroughly immediately after handling
• In case of spillage, absorb with inert material and dispose of in accordance with local regulations
  
• When storing, tightly close container and store upside down
• Store in a well-ventilated area
• Do not store near heat, sparks, open flame, or other sources of ignition
• Protect from freezing
  
• Use completely or dispose of properly
