Benjamin Moore Fresh Start Drywall Primer (K562)

USE

• for use primarily on new or previously painted drywall; can also be used for wood, plywood, and previously painted surfaces
• performs well under either latex or solvent-based paints

COVERAGE

• Gallon (3.79 litres)- One coat of approximately 400 square feet of wall space
• *Coverage may vary depending on the surface porosity and texture*

SURFACE PREP

• Surfaces must be clean, dry, and free of grease, wax, dust, mildew, water soluble materials, loose and scaling paint, or other foreign matter
• New masonry and plaster must be thoroughly cured before applying primer
• Glossy surfaces should be dulled

APPLICATION

• Use in a well-ventilated area
  
• Mix well prior to use
• Temperature must be above 10°C (50°F)
• If thinning is required, use water
• Product can be applied by nylon or polyester brush, roller, or airless spray
• Keep container closed when not in use
• Keep out of reach of children
• It is recommended that anyone who is applying the product or present during application of this product, especially those who are asthmatic, follow the manufacturer's safety precautions
• It is recommended that pregnant women are not present when product is being applied and drying
  

DRYING

• Dries to touch in 1 hour
• When applying finish coat, allow at least 3-hour dry between coats
• Humidity and temperature may prolong dry, recoat, cure, and service times

CLEAN UP & STORAGE

• Wash equipment with soap and warm water
• In case of spillage, absorb with inert material and dispose of in accordance with local regulations
• Wash thoroughly after handling
  
• When storing, tightly close container and store upside down
• Store in a well-ventilated area
• Do not store near heat, sparks, open flame, or other sources of ignition
• Protect from freezing
  
• Use completely or dispose of properly
